IP & NDA Protection – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This FAQ is designed to address common customer questions regarding Intellectual Property (IP) protection and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) when working with Mango Solution Technology Co., Limited as a PCBA manufacturing partner.

Do you sign NDAs with your customers?

Yes. Mango Solution signs formal Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with customers before accessing or processing any confidential or proprietary information. All customer data is handled strictly in accordance with the agreed NDA terms.

As a PCBA factory, how do you protect our intellectual property?

We apply an IP segmentation and least-access principle throughout the entire manufacturing process. Each production step receives only the minimum data required to perform its task, ensuring that no single party has access to the complete product information.

1.Schematics (Optional but Helpful)

It is very useful for debugging, verification and function test.
2. Assembly Instructions (For special processes)
Details on critical parts, orientation, and manual assembly steps.

3. Component Datasheets (For non-standard/custom parts)
Required if a part needs special soldering or handling.
4.Test Procedure & Programming Files (If Needed)

If the board requires firmware flashing,       functional testing, or quality checks.

5. Shipping & Packaging Requirements

  • If you have special request on shipping or packaging, like ESD protection, labeling, and packaging preferences, pls advise when ordering. Or Mango will pack and ship in Anti-collision and moisture-proof bubble bag packages.
Will our design files be shared with third-party suppliers?

Only task-specific data is shared with qualified suppliers under strict scope control:

  • PCB fabrication receives Gerber files only
  • Stencil manufacturing uses independent stencil files
  • PCBA assembly receives BOM and pick-and-place (XY) data only
  • Programming and testing use customer-approved binary or test specifications
  • Schematics, design logic, and full project data are not shared with subcontractors.
Who has access to the complete project information?

Only Mango Solution has access to the full project documentation. We act as the sole interface and responsible party for IP protection and supplier management.

Will our IP be reused for other customers or projects?

Absolutely not. Customer IP is never reused, resold, or referenced for other projects. Each project is handled independently and confidentially.

Can your employees access our confidential information freely?

No. Access to customer data is strictly restricted to authorized personnel involved in the specific project. All employees are bound by internal confidentiality agreements.

How is our data handled after project completion?

Upon project completion or upon customer request, project data can be archived or securely deleted according to the agreed NDA terms and internal data-handling procedures.

Do you work with independent suppliers, and does that increase IP risk?

We work with independent, qualified suppliers, which actually reduces IP risk. Since each supplier receives only limited, task-specific data, no single supplier can reconstruct the full product design.

Can you support additional IP protection requirements?

Yes. We can support customer-specific IP protection measures, including additional NDAs, restricted workflows, or special data-handling requirements for sensitive or regulated projects.

Are IP audits or security reviews possible?

Yes. We are open to reasonable IP compliance audits or security reviews when required by the customer, subject to mutual agreement.

How do you ensure long-term IP security?

Mango Solution continuously reviews and improves its IP protection practices in line with international business standards, customer compliance requirements, and electronics manufacturing best practices.
